Newburyport has benefited in so many ways through the CPA program, I just wanted to share the news that occurred a couple of weeks ago. The SB 90 bill that would guarantee at least a 75% matching grant from the state has come out of committee and is now on its way to the House Ways & Means Committee.
Of course, I will keep you updated as the bill works its way through the State House and let you know when and where to send letters when they are the most needed.
Our City needs this bill to pass especially as other Commonwealth grants dry up!
