So what are they going to spend the money on?

According to this article, ‘Local groups to receive tourism grants”, the Greater Newburyport Chamber of Commerce has just received grant money.

The purpose?      To increase visitors to the North Shore and in particular, Newburyport and to make us a ‘tourist destination’.

They have never gone outside of this region EVER and as I have indicated, New England Development’s business plan is based on them NEVER letting anyone know about Newburyport.

So, this makes me mighty curious.

What are they going to spend the money on?

Prettier landscaping?

Nice stationary?

Remodel the Chamber’s offices?

An even, flashier tourist brochure?

I know!     More chamber mixers.     Those are expensive to hold – perhaps upgrade the ‘snacks’ and quality of beer and wine served.

What do you think they will spend it on?

Let me know!

PS. You can get mad at me all you want.     Where’s the evidence they will actually promote us as a tourist destination?     SHOW ME PROOF!
